Westrum Appoints Three Senior-Level Management Positions to Prepare for Company's Growth

Ft. Washington, PA - John Westrum, CEO of Westrum Development Company, along with John Mershon, President, recently named three new senior managers to head various functions of the Company.

Tony Fusco, Jr. was appointed Vice President of Operations, Tom Wittimann, Vice President of Product Development, and Lisa Grafstrom, Director of Human Resources and Administration.

"We are anticipating tremendous growth over the next several years," explains John Westrum. "We have found the progression is much smoother when the company is properly staffed with talented individuals, such as Tony, Tom, and Lisa. I am proud to welcome these three professionals to our team."

Prior to Westrum, Mr. Fusco spent seven years as a Senior Project Manager at Avalon Communities, Inc. of Alexandria, Virginia where he oversaw the management and construction of over 1,400 residential and commercial units while meeting the company's fiscal and delivery projections each year. During his career, Mr. Fusco also served some of the area's most well-known builders, including Toll Brothers, Inc. and Ryland Homes. At Westrum, he will oversee the project management, production, general contracting, and sales responsibilities of the company's urban activities. He will play an active role in the marketing of Philadelphia's new communities, in addition to managing budgets and developing acquisition strategies. Mr. Fusco holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a MBA from La Salle University. He resides with his family in Newtown, PA.

Tom Wittemann, AIA has shared a long-term relationship with Westrum Development serving as the architect for many of the company's various product lines prior to coming on-board as a key team member. As the Principal /Owner of Wittemann Architects, Inc. for 12 years, Mr. Wittemann designed diverse product for a long list of highly recognized builders throughout the Delaware Valley and in Florida. He has vast experience in designing and renovating traditional single and multi-family homes, along with custom estates and commercial structures. Mr. Wittemann has been the recipient of numerous awards and has been recognized nationally for his designs. Prior to heading his own firm, Mr. Wittemann was a partner in a Philadelphia firm and a Project Manager Associate for Sullivan Associates, also in Philadelphia. At Westrum, Mr. Wittemann will be involved in all aspects of the company's product development and value engineering activities, while overseeing hired architects and land planners. He will work closely with the Operations and Land Acquisition teams. Licensed in the states of PA, NJ, and DE, Mr. Wittemann received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Pennsylvania Society of Architects, BOCA International, and holds NCARB certification. He resides with his family in Lower Gwynedd, PA.
